Mama and I have decided to close our restaurant, bungalows, yoga studio and eco spa to follow our intuition and be true to our hearts. We are very passionate about all that Pachamama offered but felt that we could offer a more personalized experience to our guests. We will be landscaping and re-structuring our business into a private retreat through April & May and will be welcoming our first 14 guests in June.
"Pachamama is the nicest of any guesthouse or hotel that I can remember staying in during the last 40 years of travelling! The pure vegan meals are absolutely scrumptious. The two Brit owners, Sylvia, and her daughter, Steph, are the most easy-going, caring, bright, charismatic, down-to-earth, funny, dedicated, and active pair of women you will meet anywhere. Pachamama is a shady, charmingly landscaped guesthouse that has been decorated in a hippy-rustic style with some signboards and artworks painted and collected by Steph. It is the sort of place where you imagine all of the principles of feng shui and vastu shastra must surely be in unanamous alignment! There is a positive energy in the atmosphere, it is peaceful, and it is comfortable. It is so refreshing to come to a guesthouse that seems to serve some higher purpose other than just the almighty dollar. This is how a guesthouse ought to be run. Pachamama is especially recommended for vegetarians/vegans, people with a spiritual or counter-cultural interest, or those just wanting somewhere to chill." Paul
